About Us

While pregnant, Sheryl Wilson and Eve Kecskes desired a network to meet other moms in a welcoming environment where they could motivate and keep one another accountable during their challenges through pregnancy and motherhood. Fitmomease was born to connect moms and help them become as happy and healthy as they can be. Through support groups, fitness and nutrition tips, sample workouts and recipes, and motivational stories, Fitmomease seeks to provide moms everywhere with the support and tools they need to reach their health and fitness goals.

Fitmomease’s support groups allow moms to come together to discuss the difficulties and triumphs that come along with pregnancy and motherhood. Being led by a Registered Dietitian and Personal Trainer, moms are provided with the two necessary components of a healthy lifestyle. During the fitness component of the sessions, Sheryl teaches moms how to minimize or lose their “mummy tummy,” also known as diastasis recti, which not only causes a lower belly pooch, but also can lead to lower back pain, sciatica, SI joint problems, and other potentially serious conditions.  Moms are also challenged with a kick-butt total body workout, incorporating cardio drills, resistance training and core strengthening exercises, all of which are modified appropriately during pregnancy and can be done with baby. During the nutrition component of the groups, Eve helps moms eat right whether they are pregnant, nursing or trying to cook healthy meals with a picky toddler, all while having enough energy to care for their family. Eve helps moms trouble shoot their barriers to healthy eating and get them on the right track. She provides meal ideas, recipes, food shopping advice, and works with moms to achieve their personal goals.

Sheryl Wilson

Sheryl Wilson, CPT, Esq., is the founder of Fitnotic, a NYC-based fitness company specializing in prenatal and postpartum fitness. She is a NASM-certified personal trainer, Tupler Technique instructor in diastasis recti rehabilitaion, NETA-certified group fitness instructor, and Hoopnotica Hoopdance instructor.

After practicing law for 8 years and teaching fitness classes and training clients on the side, Sheryl took the plunge, left law and started pursuing her life-long passion for fitness full time. While pregnant with her daughter, Sheryl discovered a need for enjoyable, yet challenging, fitness classes and programs that were safe for pregnant and postpartum women. Determined to create exciting workouts that would keep moms motivated, Sheryl used her background in boot camp workouts, boxing, kickboxing and hoopdance to create exercise programs that safely provide moms and moms-to-be with fun and effective workouts.

As a mom of two, Sheryl understands firsthand the challenges to staying fit during pregnancy and getting back in shape after having a child. Suffering from a diastasis herself, Sheryl is able to share invaluable information with her clients and friends in order to make them more comfortable during their pregnancies and more easily able to bounce back into shape postpartum.

When she’s not working, Sheryl can be found playing with her son and daughter, spending time with her husband, parents and brothers, and working out.
